Learning About Learning Circles

Interested in fostering lifelong learning within your community? This interactive presentation will introduce individuals to learning circles (peer learning groups for taking online courses) as developed by Peer to Peer University (P2PU). Participants will learn what a learning circle is, why host one, as well as some tools and tips to help them get started. About Presenter: Al Oliveras is the Digital Services & Technology Librarian at Onondaga Free Library (OFL) and has been serving public libraries for the past 15 years. OFL is currently acting as a cohort in an extended IMLS grant with Kansas City Public Library to offer learning circles within their community.
