Howland Stone Store Museum. (http://rootsweb.com/~nycayuga/howland/index.htm) This 1837 Cobblestone Store on the corner of Rt 34B and Sherwood Road in the hamlet of Sherwood, NY, was built by Slocum Howland, a devout Quaker, entrepreneur, antislavery advocate and community leader. It is on the Underground Railroad Heritage Trail and the collection includes Women's Rights, world peace, education and a natural history exhibit.
