Project Description
How to Nominate
The Library, working in conjunction with local historians, will select individuals for tributes based on the following criteria that the individual:
- lived or worked the communities of Ovid or Romulus.
- loved the communities,
- helped make our communities wonderful places to live,
- are deceased, and
- whose tribute is of interest to the general public.
Anyone can make a nomination. Please contact the Library in person, by e-mail, or by phone.
Please include name, dates, and the reasons why the person should be honored, and indicate if a good quality picture is availble. The more information provided the better the Library and the “History Gang” can evaluate the request.
Once complete, the tribute will be posted on-line as available for sponsorship and, when funding is secured, then the Library will have the tribute produced.
