"Mail-It" Program

Can't get out? Books can come to you — FREE!

If you or someone you know can’t get to the library, you’ll want to know about the Mail-It program, sponsored by the Finger Lakes Library System.

Mail-It puts adventure in your mailbox, postage-free both ways.

This is a free, tax-supported service that gets library materials to people who can’t use their local library for any reason. It’s available for anyone living in Cayuga, Cortland, Seneca, Tioga, or Tompkins counties.

Here’s how it works:

• You choose your service (large print or regular print) and any combination of formats you like (books, magazines, audiobooks, videos).
  
• You tell us how many items you want, how often, and any specific requests or kinds of subjects.
  
• We mail them to you on a regular basis, as they become available.

To register, just fill out a registration form.
