Mail-It Books-by-Mail - This free books-by-mail service is available to people with special needs who are unable to visit a local library regularly. Qualifying reasons may include: visual impairment/low vision; physical disability; recovery from illness or surgery; chronic disease or medical condition; age 65+.
The NY Talking Books and Braille Library - This state program provides free recorded books and Braille resources to eligible individuals.
Library Materials of Interest - Resources include large print books, audiobooks, descriptive videos, and more!
These group oriented games and activities can be tailored for use with a wide variety of audiences, and are perfect for reminiscing, sparking conversations, and exercising minds. All materials can be requested through the catalog and picked up at any local library (click here to browse titles in the catalog).

For member libraries:
Member libraries may borrow the Wii Adult Gaming Kit and the Wii Fit
Game Kit for hosting events geared towards baby boomers, older
adults, or intergenerational audiences. A Wii console, all necessary
cables and several multiplayer games are included - all you'll need
is a TV! To request either kit, please contact Corinne Weible at
