Need a dusty book report? A custom report has been designed that allows you to select the specific collection code and then produces a report of items that have not circulated in the past year. This report excludes items added in the last year. The report includes the call number, barcode, title, publication date, year to date circulations, total circulations, the date the item was added and the items current status. This report is available in Report Manager on the web and is located in the Cataloging folder, Item folder. Then select the report entitled AA-Weeding Shelf List.

·        LINDA BEINS, ILL/Reference Coordinator

In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, take a look at the information available on Grolier Online through Finger Lakes Library System - On-Line Electronic Databases. Among the items found were:

ü      African American Odyssey: A Quest for Full Citizenship: an extensive Library of Congress exhibition that looks at the African American struggle for equality.

ü      Martin Luther King, Jr.. Newspaper Archive where you can read actual newspaper articles highlighting “major events “in Dr. King’s Life.

ü      Martin Luther King, Jr.: In his Own Words, a Times magazine website with a gallery of photographs accompanied by King’s own words.
