Interlibrary Loan

There is still some misunderstanding about how interlibrary loan transit slips should be labeled.

Since Polaris prints the “Shipped to” information in very small print, half-way down the slip, our first choice is that you

1.   write the library code in large letters at the top of the slip. If for whatever reason this is not possible, our second choice is that you

 2.  highlight the “Shipped to: Library Name” line in yellow highlighter. And our very last choice is for you to

 3.  circle the “Shipped to: Library Name” line with a dark blue pen.

Thank you! This will greatly help the staff at FLLS who are packing the bags and trying to get materials to you in an accurate and timely manner.

So that everyone is labeling the library names consistently, below is a

List of Appropriate Codes to use when labeling transit slips in interlibrary loan items.

Please post this list at your circulation desk or wherever else staff check in materials.
