MEMBER LIBRARY WEEKLY BULLETIN
No. 05-30 SEPTEMBER 9, 2005
KATHY PARKHURST, Interlibrary Loan and Reference Coordinator
We received a book in the delivery with a “Please Process” slip in it from an unidentified library last Friday.
The book is: May I bring a friend? by Beatrice Schenk de Regniers.
If your library sent this book to FLLS to be processed, and did not fill in the library key, please call us to identify where it should be sent.
Thanks

Youth News
Thanks to everyone who has submitted their statistics. I apologize to those of you who felt rushed to get the evaluations in by September 7 as I stated in last week’s bulletin. The evaluations are actually due September 9, 2005. I still need to hear from 10 of you!
The statistics are used to determine the mini-grant funding and the number of Scholastic book donations we receive so thanks for your programs, your numbers, your readers, and your stories!
· CAROL HENDRIX, Administration
Reminder: Please e-mail me chendrix@flls.org your library’s accomplishments you would like to share in our annual meeting brochure this year. The deadline is extended to September 12th. Thanks.

· MARISA IACOBUCCI, Adult Services CoordinatorCelebrate Banned Books Week in Your Library, September 24- October 1, 2005!
If you are interested in a Banned Books Week poster for a display you will be having in your library, look for a raffle form in the delivery or visit http://www.flls.org/youth/. Return the form to Marisa by Wednesday, September 21, 2005.
Poster winners will be selected randomly from the completed entries. We ask that if you receive one of the posters that you take photographs of any Banned Books Week display that you set up in your library, for us to put in the FLLS newsletter. For more information including ideas for celebrating and a list of banned books visit http://www.ala.org/bboks.html.
