Summer Reading Updates
The summer reading prizes are here and I thank you for your patience with the backorders and minor mistakes. The library card protectors have arrived and will be delivered to you as soon as they are counted. The book order has been placed and you will receive your copies as they arrive. Hopefully, all your planning is coming together and you are ready to promote your programs, performers and books! Let me know if you need anything!Deposit Collection Change
Polaris will handle deposit collections slightly differently than DYNIX. Therefore, I will no longer be able to ship deposit collections that consist of more than one item type. For example, a deposit collection that consists of 25 ER and 25 E books is currently processed as 50 E books. In the future all collections will be split and shipped as two separate collections of 25ER and 25E.
All collections that have biographies, non-fiction and fiction will be separated as well. Nonfiction collections will be processed with the newest nonfiction titles rather than the split lists some libraries now receive.
I will contact any libraries that currently receive collections that are too complicated to be split easily, but please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns this change might present.
Thanks for your patience as we make these changes.
