MEMBER LIBRARY WEEKLY BULLETIN

No. 05-18                                                                                                                                 MAY 20, 2005

We are accepting requests for vendor reimbursement, but will hold on the requests until the end of the year when we determine the amount of money available to reimburse to member libraries. Note that the deadline for submission of requests is Nov. 1, 2005, and only invoices with a date of between Nov. 1, 2004 and Oct. 31, 2005 will be accepted for consideration. If you have any questions, please call or email me.

PLEASE wrap, rubber band, paperclip, or if you really feel compelled to do so, staple your vendor cards and forms when you send them in for processing. ALWAYS have your library key on each card submitted. This will be very good for my mental health!

The summer reading prizes are here.  We will send them to you as soon as we have them all counted and boxed!  Your original order will be included in the delivery, and a bill will arrive separately.  We were able to provide some savings on Oriental Trading items and small discounts on Janway’s bags so you will see an adjusted amount if you ordered those items. A few items are backordered so please check your original order to confirm, and I will send them to you the minute they arrive.  If there are any problems, just let me know and I’ll ask for your patience ahead of time.

The library card protectors will be delivered separately.

Today, May 20th is the last day to place your book order for $100 worth of books purchased with the summer reading mini grant, and everyone will receive one copy of I Know a Shy Fellow in addition to the titles you choose.  Congratulations to Sandy in Aurora for finding the combination of titles that equaled $100 exactly! (A combination I didn’t realize was possible.)

Please register as soon as possible for the workshop on June 23rd with Kathleen Odean because everyone is excited about her visit and space may be limited.
