Member Library Directors - Interlibrary Loan Alert!  Effective Immediately!
No more blue transit slips needed on Transit Hold books!
 
Please inform your staff that as of today, Feb. 11, it is no longer necessary to fill out and send in the blue transit hold forms when filling Dynix holds for other libraries.

Instead, just include the receipt printout, and please circle the library name, indicating where the item needs to be sent. We also ask that you change your receipt printer ribbons regularly, so that the print is dark enough to read easily.
 
In the past, we have needed the blue slips to give us a detailed breakdown on statistics. We no longer need to keep such detailed statistics, and will be relying on the general statistics which Dynix provides, showing how many times each library borrowed and loaned items from other Dynix libraries in a given month.

You can also access this same statistical ILL report for your library on Dynix.
This report can be found on the Master Menu in the Circulation account, under  
#4 - Reports & Notices
#1 - Statistics
#9 - Report-Monthly Inter/Intra library loan stats.
(Or you can use this shortcut command from any main circulation menu: RMIS).
It will ask you which month you want statistics for, and for which agency (your library code), and where you want the report to print (choose A for Auxiliary).

Monday, Feb. 21 is President’s Day Holiday – FLLS will be closed and there will be no deliveries that day.

Reminder:  Please send me corrections/changes for the 2005 System Directory. A memo was sent February 1^st. The deadline to respond is February 18^th. The response has been great; only eleven libraries have not responded as of this date.  Thanks.
