E-Rate filing - FSCS#

For those libraries that are filing for E-rate and therefore filling out Form 471, you may need a FSCS #.  This number is the same as your login for Bibliostat Collect, the software used to submit your Annual Report.  You should have this number from the last two years of doing the Annual Report.  If you need this number and cannot locate it, please contact me at ext. 25.

The January System Meeting topic will be the GIS Polaris ILS that has been selected as the replacement for our current Dynix software.  GIS will be coming to give a demonstration of Polaris.  This won't be a training session but it will give you the opportunity to see what it looks like, how it works and to ask questions.  We are very excited about the Polaris software and that we are able to offer this demonstration, so let's see if we can fill up the Borg Warner Room on Thursday January 27th, 2005.  More information to come...

Winter Weather is here and we want to remind you to keep the steps and walkways clear of ice and snow to help make access easier for delivery drivers and patrons at your library.

Community Service Project Funds Reminder

Just a reminder to those of you who are eligible for Community Service Project Funds:

Please send your narrative, plus the start and end dates of your project, to me by no later than this coming Monday, December 20, 2004.  Thank you to those of you who have sent them already.

I will try to get your packets to you by the last week of December so you can sign the forms and mail them out.

Thanks!

Annual Report Packets

Just to clarify:  In your folder of Annual Report materials, there are several sample reports which are annotated that Jan provided.  These are for you too look over and better understand how to read and use the reports for filling in your Annual Report. They are not actually reports with statistics that you use.

Thanks again!
