Giving the Gift of Books...reminder...
There's still time! The gift of books to young people is a gift they can open again and again. The “2005 Books to Give” list makes suggestions for infants and toddlers, preschoolers, ages 5-7, ages 7-10, and ages 11-14.

Most of these titles are available for purchased at Amazon.com through our website at http://www.flls.org/youth/giftbooks.htm. It works this way: Our webpage links with a specific page in Amazon.com.  When the book is purchased through this Amazon.com page, we receive a small donation through Amazon. It’s an experiment in fund raising. As you know, the budget is tight, and we are hopeful that this may be a small way to raise some money while at the same time providing additional services to our patrons.

So, please encourage your patrons to purchase books through our website (or do it yourself!). If you do it now, gifts for Hanukkah may even make it on time!
