• REX HELWIG, Computer Network Manager

The LSTA/NOVEL grant for the trainers toolbox has been approved.  The Trainers Toolbox will contain 10 laptops for training, 1 presenter’s laptop, 1 projection unit and screen for you to use in your library.  Along with the equipment, Jan will have prepared Power Point presentations with handouts on 5 or 6 topics.  The "Trainers Toolbox" in conjunction with the "Train the Trainer" training sessions will put the tools in your hands for effective staff and patron education.  I'll be ordering the equipment and software this month along with creating the equipment setup instructions.  More information will be coming as we get closer to October.
