There is still time to register for the Database Lite Workshop.
Want to consume satisfying amounts of delicious, nutrient-dense database training? Feel like most online “help” is carbohydrate-heavy filler? Want to get to the “meat” of what these databases have to offer? If you want to enhance your database skills, Database Lite can help.

Please mark your calendar to attend this important and valuable workshop being offered at the following locations:
Candor – July 19
Weedsport – July 21
Trumansburg – July 28
Homer – July 29

The “Database Lite” sessions are scheduled from 9:00 am – 12 Noon.
Advanced registration is necessary and required.
These workshops will focus on the three literature databases; NoveList, Literature Resource Center, and Twayne’s Author’s Series. This training will help you understand what databases we “own”, how to access them, determine the best literature database for the job, and enhance your searching skills with these databases.

The instructors will Jennifer Schlossberg, Reference Librarian with the Tompkins County Public Library assisted by Kathy Parkhurst, Reference, and ILL Coordinator for the Finger Lakes Library System.

You can register by calling me @ ext. 36 or e-mail me at jaguirre@flls.org
