Last call for Library Lobby Day in Albany on March 16th.  Rex will be driving our System van and there is still room for interested library directors, trustees or library advocates to ride along. The more participants for Library Lobby Day, the better chance of having our concerns heard by our elected officials.  Call me at ext. 21 if you would like to attend.

Check this out!  Finger Lakes Library System, polycanvas briefcases will be available for $10.00. They will be black with a gray band across the top.  If you are interested in purchasing one or more, please email me by Monday, March 15. The Cataloging Services Dept. is now in the process of hiring someone for the now open position of copy cataloger. It is hoped that a replacement can be found within six weeks. During this period of position vacancy, I am making a request to member libraries to not send in any GIFTvideo recordings for cataloging. However, libraries can continue to submit NEWLY RELEASED videorecordings.
