Reminder…
Wednesday, October 15th is the Annual Meeting at the Seneca Falls Country Club!
- ROBERT McLAUGHLIN, Cataloging Services
Karen Creenan has sent you a letter concerning vendor reimbursement. Accompanying the letter is a reimbursement form. This form is the most recent version and has been available for some time. However, since the revised form became available, I have noticed that a number of libraries are still using the old form. Please use the current form -- it allows us to more accurately determine what reimbursement you should receive. The new form requires that you indicate on orders received from Baker and Taylor the invoice amount for mylar jackets and cataloging separately. It also requires that you indicate both the actual amount invoiced for processing as well as the amount you expect to receive.
Finally, unless you have already done so, remember to submit your request for reimbursement by November 1, 2003. Any requests received after that date will be considered for the 2004 budget.
If you have any questions, or if you need a copy of the new form, please contact me.
- JAN AGUIRRE, Computer Network Department
Several libraries requested during the recent workshop on Reports that I create a report in MISCR of ILL's that are lost to your patrons. This report will include only items that are NOT owned by your library but are checked out to your patrons. This report has been added to the list of reports in your Miscellaneous Report menu. The report is sorted by call number and owning agency and includes the call number, the title, the owning agency, the date the item was set to lost, the patron's name, phone number and the price of the item. If you are unsure how to access MISCR, refer to your handouts from the class or call the Computer Network Services Department hotline, ext. 37.
Also, I will be on vacation from October 10th through October 28th. I will return to work on Wednesday October 29th. Please do not leave questions or problems on my voice mail unless you can wait until I return for the answer.
