FREE Large-Type Typewriter available!!

We have a typewriter available for FREE!  It is an Olympia electric 65.  If anyone out there still uses a typewriter, I have it on Malia's authority that it is in good working order.  Please let Marisa know if you are interested by Friday, August 1st.  After that…it will be disposed of in other ways.  Thanks!

“Collector’s guide to PEZ: identification & price guide” by Shawn Peterson (2nd ed. 2003).
Note: Remember to always label or stamp your materials with your library’s name before you send them in for processing.
 

Regional Training

The dates for the second round of regional training are set.  The subject will be "Holdings Maintenance" and I am encouraging every library to attend, especially those that have never attended a Holdings Maintenance class.  The goal is for everyone that performs Holdings Maintenance to attend a training session on it.  Send your reservations to jaguirre@flls.org or call her at extension 36.

FLLS Listserve

We have migrated to a new mail server and now have the ability to create our own listserve.  The old flls-l@lakenet.org which has had many functionality problems over the last 18 mos. is gone.  I have created a new list called flls-l@flls.org. 

If you received this weekly bulletin then you are already subscribed.  If you have additional staff that would like to subscribe, have them send an email to maiser@flls.org with SUBSCRIBE flls-l First & Last Name  in the body of the email.

We encourage you to use this list to communicate questions and comments that might be of interest to the entire System.  All of the member libraries and FLLS Department Heads are subscribed.  To post a message to the list, send an email to
