I will be out of the office for two weeks from Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 13. I will be back on Monday, June 16. DO NOT leave requests for barcodes in my telephone voicemail, by email, or Dynix mail. However, all other general requests or messages that do not have to be responded to immediately can be left in voicemail, email, or Dynix mail.

Family Literacy Day
The Family Reading Partnership is beginning to plan for the Kids’ Book Fest coming up in Ithaca November 15, 2003. The day will be full of “Free Family Fun! Activities, entertainment and a feast of visual displays all related to children's books. Bookmaking, art activities, costumes to wear, stories to listen to! Local authors, entertainers and performances by schools. Don't miss it!”

If you would like to participate in planning this day, have a table there with your library or team up with nearby libraries, please contact me (dianam@flls.org). Planning meetings are on the following Tuesdays, 3pm at Boynton Middle School: Sept. 9, Sept 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 11.

We will be holding a Dynix New User training session on Monday morning June 9th.  The session will run from 10 to 12 and will be held in the FLLS conference room.  Space is limited to 10 participants so please reserve your spot with Jan Aguirre (ext. 36 or email to  jaguirre@flls.org) by Wednesday June 4th.

Future Dynix New User training dates are 8/4/2003 and 11/3/2003.  A Dynix Advanced User training session is scheduled for 9/8/2003.
