Sports Illustrated ‘s 100 Best Sports Books of All Time
The editors of Sports Illustrated have duked it out and compiled a list of the best sports books of all time. It’s available in the December 16, 2002 issue of Sports Illustrated, as well as online in the EBSCOhost database. The list offers a mix of novels and nonfiction (dominated by male sports figures) in a wide variety of sports and writing perspectives - from Maurice Herzog’s intense climb up Annapurna to the 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers.
(The above was found by Diana and passed on to me.)

Please carefully check each delivery bag from FLLS completely to make sure you have removed ALL the items from the bag. We have been getting vendor cards, forms, processed books, and other messages returned to us in delivery bags for what seems to be no reason other than the items were not previously removed from the bags.
Please note that if for some reason you are sending an item back, be sure to attach some sort of note or communication so we know what we are supposed to do with it. We possess incredible powers and capabilities here at headquarters, but reading minds is not one of them J.

We ordered by accident 2 copies of In This Mountain by Jan Karon. We would like to offer the extra copy to member libraries for $10.00. Anyone interested please call Peck Memorial Library.
This must be our season of blunders. I just found out we have another duplicate book that we would like to offer to member libraries for $10.00. The Riddle of the Deplorable Dandy by Patricia Veryan
Please contact Peck Memorial Library if you are interested in this book!
