MARISA IACOBUCCI, Adult Services Coordinator
Quote that I couldn't resist passing on to you all:
" The automotive equivalent of a really hot librarian. Good looking, yet intelligent. Fun, yet sophisticated. All in a very eye-catching 200-horsepower package." Advertising copy for the Honda Accord V-6 Coupe as seen in national magazines such as Time and Car & Driver.
An interesting idea from the journal Public Libraries March/April 2002 issue:
Body Painting at Jeffco Libraries
Here's a new programming idea that is sure to attract the kids! Teens had a chance to try mehndi, the art of henna body painting, in free programs at the Jefferson County (Colo.) Public Libraries. Henna is a temporary natural dye. Kids aged eleven years and older explored the history, traditions, and techniques of the ancient art, then practiced applying it to the skin. Participants received a personal henna kit to take home.

iPac, the new Web catalog for use in the library and by the patrons, is finally here. I have been creating the new accounts and replacing them on the FLLS Java WebPac catalog page. The libraries with iPac up and running are FLLS, Dryden, Seneca Falls and Tompkins County Public Library. I want to thank the many people that have submitted their constructive comments which have been very helpful. A special thanks to Jennifer Schlossberg, TCPL Reference Librarian.
