Susan Robey in Groton brought to my attention that the Gates Foundation had sent out cards within the
last couple of weeks that asked for information about public Internet access in your libraries.One of the questions was Fastest Internet Speed. Most of the libraries are connected by cable modem (RoadRunner, Adelphia, etc) or DSL (Clarity Connect) with one or two having 56K Frame relay. Cable, DSL, or 56K should suffice as the response to this question.
