Several of the libraries have Full Armor installed on pac and public computers to lock them from the public so that changes cant be made. We are finding out that Full Armor does not work well on Windows 98 (as well as newer operating systems like Windows ME/2000/XP) computers that have upgrades and security patches applied to them. Full Armor can be installed but when it is active, it will eventually cause Windows to issue an error to the effect that the registry is corrupt and that Windows needs to reboot to fix the problem. After the reboot Full Armor is no longer running and you may find things such as network settings and printers missing.
Although Full Armor will continue to work on Windows 95 and non-updated versions of Windows 98 we recommend Fortres 101 for anyone looking to update their protection software or when adding/upgrading computers with Windows 98 or later.
Fortres 101 is available for $59 for one license (1 license = 1 computer) or in a pack of 15 licenses for $325. That is the educational pricing and unfortunately they dont offer 5 or 10 copy licenses.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
