It’s that time of year again! Mark your calendars for October 10th… I will
be mailing out the invitations to our 43rd Annual Meeting soon.  This year
our meeting will be held at the Seneca Falls Country Club. More details to
come. If you or one of your trustees do not receive your invitation by the
end of next week, call me at ext. 21. Thank you.

Hi all! I wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of the office from
Friday, September 7th to Monday, September 24th.  I will be back at work
Tuesday, September 25th.  We’re heading to Maine for some ocean-gazing.

If you need some immediate help, give Carol a call (ext. 21) and she can
send you in the right direction.  If it can wait, call and leave me a voice
mail message or e-mail me.  See you at the System meeting, September 27th!

If you send in videos or sound recordings for processing, you should not
create fast adds for them. When you create fast adds for items that are not
immediately available for your patrons (because we have them), your patrons
will not be able to check them out until they are returned to you.

I have received a number of videos and sound  recordings lately that were
damaged. When sending in these materials, please remove all packaging and
shrink-wrap and inspect the materials.

FYI…the library will be closing for the move to our NEW LIBRARY  the weeks
of September 17th and September 24th.   We hope to open at our new building
on October 1st.
