As many of you have already heard, our Substitute Delivery driver, Herb Maas, who is filling in for Tom Smith while he is on vacation this week, was in an accident on Wednesday afternoon in Moravia. Luckily, Herb is OK, but the van is not. We are looking into renting a delivery vehicle while we assess the extent of damage to the van.  In the meantime, please bear with us as we make adjustments to the delivery schedule as needed.  Tom Smith will be back next Monday (7/23). However, Mike Wendlowsky is also on vacation through next Wed. (7/25) and we are uncertain at this time whether we will have a driver to cover Mike’s route Mon-Wed. Assume that you will receive deliveries unless you hear otherwise from us.

Please update your System Directory to reflect the following change for the Spencer Library. New hours effective immediately:

Monday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Tuesday - Friday: 3:00 am - 8:00 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

If you need any more, please call (271-4074, ext 27) or e-mail (dianam@flls.org).  We also have some very cool summer reading prizes, such as animal watches, slinkies, and nose pencil sharpeners available for purchase. Get 'em while supplies last!
