KAREN CREENAN, Executive Director

Nancy Harbison, Library Director of the Phillips Free Library in Homer, will be on sabbatical leave until July 2001. Susan James is the acting Library Director in Nancy’s absence.
Congratulations to the following member library trustees: Joan Shafer, Waverly Free Library; Mary Quant, Port Byron Library; and Charles Preston, Candor Free Library, who received scholarships to attend the 2001 NYSALB Trustee Institute, May 4-5th, in Kingston, NY.
If your library applies for E-Rate funding, other than for basic telephone and long distance charges, you must have a technology plan on file with Finger Lakes Library System. If you have any questions about developing this plan, please call Karen, ext. 22.

ROBERT MC LAUGHLIN, Cataloging Services Coordinator

The deadline for returning your 2001 Book Replacement Grant printout is April 30. If there is any reason why you need an extension, please contact me immediately. The grant has to be approved by the FLLS Board of Trustees at the May meeting, and I need enough time to compile the results.
