The Gale Literature Resource Center is now available on the Finger Lakes Library System Web site. This database combines the Dictionary of Literary Biography, Contemporary Authors, and Contemporary Literary Criticism Select in one source. It provides Biographical essays, critical essays, interviews, bibliography, suggested readings, and sources for further study. This database is funded by a regional grant. Give it a try.

 

I am taking a crash course in E-Rate so that we can answer questions from member libraries as well as ensure that the System’s application paperwork is completed. Although at this moment I can’t promise I will know the answer to your question when you call, I can promise we will doggedly pursue the answer for you. If you are willing to spend some time cruising the SLD Web site, http://www.sl.universalservice.org, most of the information you need can be found there.

 

When you receive your Funding Commitment Decision Letters (FCDLs) for Program Year 3 (PY3) applications, remember you will need to file form 486. The revised version of the form may be found on the SLD Web

The last date for filing BEARS forms for Program Year 2 (PY2) is November 20, 2000.
