An introduction to
Facebook--find out what it is, how it works, and how to stay safe.
There will be optional time at the end of the class to create your
own Facebook account (an e-mail address is required if you would
like to sign up for Facebook).
Genealogy Club (with Jenny)

Come share your genealogy
experiences. We will provide laptops, print and online
resources, and a knowledgeable staff member to help with any
computer or research questions.
Digital Photos (with Kim)
Thurs. May 23 - 5:00-6:30pm
Transfer, manage, and share
your photos! Included are instructions on transferring photos
from your digital camera to your computer, managing photos, and how
to share pictures via e-mail or a USB flash drive.
Craigslist (with Jenny)

Learn how to use Craigslist
safely to save and make money. Learn all about the
great components of Craigslist--an online resource you can use to
find jobs, apartments, and buy and sell goods.
All classes are free and

Kusudama
Paper Flower Craft Workshop

The
Japanese Kusudama is a paper ball made out of multiple identical origami
shapes glued together. They were traditionally used as a ball for
incense or potpourri but now we see them more for decoration or as a
gift. All materials will be provided.

Cooperative Extension is clearing away the dirt from home-composting.
Learn why composting matters, the dos and don'ts of composting, and
the 411 on making your own indoor or outdoor compost bin for your home
gardens. Composting saves money on watering and fertilization
while protecting our community from pollution and heavy landfill use.

Montgomery is an Agriculture and Nutrition Educator at the Cornell
Cooperative Extension, serving as an AmeriCorps intern. She is
a certified Master Gardener Student with a bachelors in archaeology and
agriculture and professional experience with grafting, propogation,
ornamental plant identification and maintenance, and landscaping.
